i am so behind on these outfit posts... but i figure i should post up the old before the new, but let me tell you its been SMOKING hot up here in canada [kill me], today was "feels like 40", celcius that is. death.

i guess the point i was trying to make was that ive had bare legs the past 2 days! crazy talk! also, cant find my new lace tights... bare legs stick to things.

unitards.

personally, i am a fan haha. i purchased a unitard for 5 bucks a long time ago at Stitches because: damn thats a great deal, and it was also hilarious, but then i found it to come in quite useful. bodysuits are great for when youre tired of constantly tucking in shirts and when you want something tight and comfortable, but what about wearing them on their own?

i love it.

but its hard when to make a call whether its approprite or not...

im still in highschool so i basically judge by what im wearing it with, i mean hell so many girls wearing leggings as pants these days, why not just throw a unitard on top, there shouldnt be anything wrong with that.

but on Thursday we took some bs trip to Montreal for french, which I dont even have this semester, and lets face it that trip was organised just for shopping haha, so i did get some sweet stuff including this sweet shirt and lacy tights below...

so there been a recent influx[is this the right word?] of floral prints into my wardrobe lately, im a little obsessed at the moment but now that ive got 3 dresses, 1 shirt, 1 short, 1 skirt, 1 tights i think im good [wouldnt mind pants though...], i think my next hunt will be for lace, finally got some lacy tights as well

sorry for my general lack of... everything really

this month is definetly truning out to be a hectic one...

so tragedy struck sunday morning as i found out 2 boys i knew died the night before in a car crash...
i knew only knew one for a short time since he changed schools in grade 10, and i never knew him really that well, but it was strange because i had just seen him at a birthday party in March...

the other one though, David, though i never hung out with him outside of school, i still would have considered him a friend, definetly more than an aquaintance... especially since we now had graphic design together, i couldnt even go to that class on Monday though, Monday was a rough day...

something ive never mentioned is that i used to be quite active in our schools little underground swing dance club, David was in it as well.

but yes, i love swing dancing, we really just teach ourselves so bare with us. and i do looove swing and big band music, i used to be really big on that stuff. i havent been back to the club since our last performance right before the christmas break, early mornings were killer.

heres a performance we did back in december, 3rd group is ours, but Im actually not in this one a lot because the person whos parents were filimg was always on the opposite side of the stage from me, so i was always cut out haha:

ahhh!!! been busy lately sorry guys! but...

I GOT INTO RYERSON FOR FASHION DESIGN!

and its all accepted and everything so yay, also applied for res, pray to the lord i get into the one i want!

I SAW THE TWELVES, GRUM, AND LE MATOS ON SATURDAY!!!
it was amazing, just waiting for some pictures to surface up before I post about it, I, unfotunatly, did not have a camera on me haha. but Le Matos knocked it out of the park, better keep my eyes on these guys

also i have a lot to say about la musique, been downloading full albums like a mad woman ever since i got WinRAR to open up .rar's :D, heres some stand outs so far:
-Total Life Forever by Foals [in general, amazing]
-Causers Of This by Toro Y Moi [FINALLY got the full thing]
-LP4 by Ratatat [just listening to it now, and what can i say, Ratatat never dissapoints!]
-Before Today by Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti [growing on me more and more :) ]

but ill post more about these later either here or at the fashion press [if i ever get around to it]

and on an unfortunate side note, been quite sick, something like a 24 hour flu, but i actually thought i was going to die last night haha, felt sooo weak!

in art news, weve started working on our final projects for this year, which is 2 big works with one common theme/design element, heres a little practise piece/experiment, this may be complete or else im gonna try some crazy mix media collagy type shit with a bunch of candy wrappers/old broken rubiks cube pieces/empty make up bottles because, YES, i do save these like a little pack rack is case they came in useful for some AAARRRTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
